Enginerio Logo

As a leading Scan to BIM outsourcing service provider, we provide efficient and cost-effective Point Cloud BIM modeling services to engineers, architects, builders, and contractors. We use Laser scan data, CAD Drawings, site images, and videos to create accurate 3D BIM models of the required LOD (LOD 100 to LOD 500).

Our key strength lies in modeling confined zones, complex elements, intricate interiors and complicated building components that are not clearly visible in scans. We do this by referring to CAD drawings, 360 photos, and videos, and by using our best judgment. Our expert Revit Scan to BIM modelers can recreate minute details, like carvings, statues, grooves, etc., of historical buildings, palaces, churches, libraries, and more.

With accurate, to-the-point information about 3D Geometries, pipes, electricals, slabs, walls, roof planes, and facades, our Point Cloud BIM models ensure superior planning, designing, repairing, and renovation of buildings, as per the latest building design and construction standards.

Our models undergo extensive quality checks to ensure that the final deliverable is without errors and is compliant with the necessary codes. Our Point Cloud to BIM Model Conversion Services have been used for the renovation and reconstruction of buildings and structures across the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, and Australia.

Connect with us to facilitate enhanced visualization of your building structures and make modification and alterations easy, clash-free, and less time-consuming.

Services we Provide

As-Built Drawings from Laser Scan Data

We effectively use the point cloud data to create precise As-Built Models of existing buildings with tagging and annotation. Our experts use the model to extract the As-Built drawings with precise dimensions and markings.

3D BIM Models from Point Cloud Data

The BIM experts at Enginerio use Point cloud data to develop an information-rich 3D model that can be used for Facility Management, As-Built CAD Drawings, Renovation, Retrofit, and Re-construction purposes. Our professionals can compare as-built conditions with the as-planned designs for gap analysis and structural improvements. To facilitate asset management, we create LOD 500 BIM model and COBie data, so that it can be used to manage the facility.

Information Extraction from 3D BIM Models

We have developed expertise in Point cloud file format conversion and point cloud to mesh conversions. Every element of the BIM model has data and properties embedded in it. Our expert modelers can help you extract all the required data – information on construction material, cross-sectional details, condition, cost, and more – for future reference as well as Asset Management.

Point Cloud to Revit Model

Enginerio supports Architects with information-rich 3D models and 2D drawings of architectural building elements like elevation, Façade, Floor plans and sections etc.

We support Structural modeling for structural elements such as Columns, Foundation, beams, trusses and framing, etc.

Our MEP modeling creates accurate as-built models of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems in the buildings.

Based on customer requirements, we produce models from LOD 100 to 500. Resolve clashes and submit the clash-free final 3D models, and ensure it is compliant with the required building codes and standards.

Laser Scanning in US

Let Enginerio be your go-to company in the US for Reality Capture. We are strategically located across USA to deploy to any location faster than anyone!!

With over 20 trained staff and each surveyor having between 5 – 30 years of AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) experience, your projects are in the right hands.

Our Scan hardware consists of Terrestrial, SLAM, Drone, Photogrammetry, and UAV LiDAR devices that can be used to create point clouds, meshes, virtual walkthroughs, or any LiDAR or photogrammetry-based deliverable. The device used depends on usefulness, scope, size of site, availability, and where possible, preference.

Frequently asked
questions

While our working steps differ from project to project, the general process includes:

  • Understanding the scope of work: Our project manager gets in touch with you to understand the purpose of the project and determine the elements that need to be modeled along with their LOD.
  • Data collection: Next, we ask the client to provide us with data for BIM model creation. This includes laser scan data, point cloud data, and/ or site photographs.
  • Data registration: If the data provided by the client is not registered, we use our experience and expertise to register it before creating a Revit model.
  • Point cloud data processing: The registered data is then processed to create a 3D point cloud.
  • Point cloud to BIM conversion: The point cloud data is now imported into Revit or CAD models and converted into a 3D model. Architectural, structural and MEPF components are modeled. It’s also linked with cost, time, and quantity-related data, as per the client’s requirement and clash-detection is carried out to ensure the model is error-free.
  • Delivering the final BIM model: The final BIM model is delivered to the client to be used for design analysis, construction planning, and facility management.

We can help you with a wide variety of projects, including:

  • Building construction and modifications
  • Building renovations
  • Facility management
  • Building maintenance
  • Refurbishment
  • Building demolition
  • Some of the things we need from your side include:
  • Laser-scanned data of the building structure
  • Site photographs of the structure
  • Design drawings, if available
The cost totally depends on the timelines of your project and its complexity. Check our Prices and Plans for indicative pricing or get in touch with our expert project managers for a detailed quote.
